This activity was helpful for us because the video shows in a clearly way what is Cognitivism ,Constructivism and Behaviorism.Their functions in education, definitions and how they worked.
Sometimes the theories get confused but now I have a better idea of these 3 special Theories.

Teaching Models

Traditional Education: Traditional education or back-to-basics refers to long-established customs found in schools that society has traditionally deemed appropriate. In the eyes of reformers, traditional teacher-centered methods focused on rote learning and memorization must be abandoned in favor of student-centered and task-based approaches to learning. Historically, the primary educational technique of traditional education was simple oral recitation.

Behaviorism: Within the schools, educators began to rely heavily on teaching by specific behavior objectives and on using standardized methods of instruction. In other words, the tradition of behaviorism initiated in the early twentieth century by Edward Thorndike came to dominate the schools of the 1970s and 1980s. The tradition of behaviorism fit neatly into the accountability movement.

Constructivism: Constructivism is a discipline based on the construction of reality. It is said that we cannot know what is real or can’t ever find the truth because when we have knowledge of something we base it upon basic perceptions of reality and there will always be an approximant to what we construct in our minds.

Precursors:

Wilhelm Wundt, Ivan Pavlov (behaviorism)
Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky & John Dewey (Constructivism)

Presentations

What are the most interesting elements of each character in today's presentations?

Friedrich Froebel: He designed balls, wooden blocks, tiles, sticks and rings to demonstrate that children learn by playing.

John Dewey: He believed that students thrive in an environment where they are allowed to experience and interact with the curriculum, and all students should have the opportunity to take part in their own learning.

Activity 1

Definition of Didactics:

We can define Didactics as the techniques and guidelines for a significant learning and teaching oriented to students. We can also understand it as the Art of Teaching.

Domains:

One of the domains is the application of the discipline used by the teacher. This is an element that has been present  today, involving other disciplines like: Phychology, Pedagogy, Phylosophy, Sociology amongs others. However, many changes have been involved throughout the years. This produces difficulties due to the fact that in compromises the complexity of learning. Finally it involves Teaching-Learning Process.

What is Didactics?

I think that more than an Art is the science of teaching profession, because it has connection with society and education decisions.
You also involves Psychology,Sociology and many others activities that helps with education during a class and the interaction between student-teacher and viceversa.
Another important point is, sometimes we need a guideline to a  improve our knowledge, so this kind of subject will help us to underestand more about it.
